The Green Card is a mandatory document for all migrants arriving in the United States.  This card allows permanent residence in the country legally. 

 

 With the Green Card a person can live and work in the US.  With the new amounts from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Green Card has a new issuance period.

 When requesting the renewal of the Green Card you must attend your biometric appointment.  Then the USCIS will take 6 to 10 months to renew the card.  This from the date of presentation of the applicant. 

 

 After this period the person will receive a new permanent residence card.  Remember that you must begin the renewal process when the card is due to expire in the next six months.
