 As proof you can use publications in recognized magazines, media and national awards can be very useful.

Cost and duration

To access this visa, you must pay an amount of $190 dollars.  In this cost you have to add the concepts with which you will demonstrate your ability, such as the certification of an award.


 This visa can be requested for a period of up to three years.  There is the opportunity to renew it if you will continue with said activity.

How to request it?

The application is initiated by the contracting company or by an agent.  The professional cannot alone promote himself to request such authorization from the immigration authority in the US.


 Form I-129 Petition for Foreign Worker must be completed.  The form must be accompanied by your passport and identification from your country of origin.

L-1 Visa

This visa allows you to carry out your employment as a representative of a US company that will open a branch within the territory of the US.


 The employer is the one who must apply for this visa for foreign personnel who will work as executives or specialized personnel.


 This visa is available for specialized workers, managers and executives of an American company or with a branch in that territory.  The company must check its regular operation.

Authorization duration

Visas for transfers between companies have a cost of $190 dollars.  The initial authorized term is one year, which may be extended.


 This permit is to remain in the country for up to seven years as a general rule.  In the case of specialized personnel, they can only stay for a period of five years.
