The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has extended the validity of Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) until March 9, 2025 for TPS (Temporary Protected Status) beneficiaries from Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Nepal and Sudan. Beneficiaries will receive a Form I-797 notifying this extension.

 

If you have not yet reregistered, you must file Form I-821 during the current reregistration period to maintain TPS benefits. The re-registration dates are as follows:

 

Honduras: July 5, 2025
El Salvador: March 9, 2025
Nicaragua: July 2025
Nepal: June 24, 2025
Sudan:April 19, 2025

 

Although re-enrollment periods vary, EADs have been uniformly extended through March 9, 2025. For more details on how to re-enroll and renew your EAD, see the Federal Register notice for your country.
